In 1971, the introduction of drip irrigation opened the door to vast agricultural production throughout the Colorado River desert region. OE provided the following consulting services for the 300 acre vineyard on right of photo; boundary survey, planting and facilities layout, irrigation system design, water well and reservoir design, installation inspection, and operational specifications. |

No project is too large for OE. This impressive 1,100-acre citrus development is located on the Mesa in Blythe, California. OE was responsible for property corners, aerial photogrammetry, planting layout, designing five reservoirs, five booster pump and filter stations, two-125 hp lift stations, installation inspection and operational specifications. |

Today, farmers are realizing they must manage their irrigation water wisely. This cement-lined reservoir was designed for a 90-acre homesite and nursery development. The project included the following consulting services: property corners and legal description, various governmental agency approvals, grading plans, reservoir design, installation inspection, irrigation system design and specifications. |

OE also has experience working for public utility companies. In the project photographed here, we designed a system for the Coachella Valley Water District, which involved relocating irrigation and drainage pipelines along 8 miles of new state highway construction. Specifically, OE was responsible for design approval with local and state agencies, design of several irrigation pipeline crossings on large diameter pipe ranging from 12" to 42" including special tees, fittings, bends and gate valves. OE also provided construction engineering inspection services. |
